DMM Grippy Grip Tape is a 20 mm wide insulating tape roll to be applied around the handle of your ice axe.
Thanks to its composition, Grippy Grip Tape ensures perfect grip and contributes to a more effective hold.
The tape also provides insulation from the cold, thus increasing the longevity of the ice axe itself.
For the Griptape, after removing the white part, start from the bottom with the taping, ensuring to overlap the tape on the lower layer by about half the surface with each turn; the tape is self-bonding, so it does not require glue, and should be held slightly taut during taping so that the tape grips onto itself. The final part should be secured with one or two turns of insulating or electrician's tape.
