DMM Mantis Belay Master 2 Set belay device and climbing carabiner is designed for safety maneuvers and descent.
DMM Mantis Belay Master 2 Set consists of the belay device Mantis and the carabiner Belay Master 2.
Mantis is a lightweight, compact, and easy-to-use belay device. You can comfortably use it with both half and twin ropes as well as single ropes. The accepted diameter ranges from 7.3 mm to 9.2 mm for half and twin ropes, and from 8.5 mm to 11 mm for single ropes.
Belay Master 2 is a screw-lock carabiner characterized by a plastic protection that, once closed, keeps the belay device or rope on the correct side of the carabiner. Additionally, the plastic protection can only be closed if the screw lock is in the correct position, thus making it impossible to accidentally open the lever. The carabiner has a wide internal surface that allows you to handle it even while wearing gloves and to tie knots like the half fisherman’s knot for safety.
