The DMM Spire Tech is a modern, versatile, and lightweight ice axe, ideal for technical or sustained terrain during hiking, mountaineering, or ski mountaineering. The curved handle and machined grips ensure excellent ergonomics, while the refined design and riveted construction make the axe robust yet weighing only 323 g.
The blade, hammer, and pick are made of high-strength steel, ensuring durability and excellent grip on ice and snow. The machined bevels on the blade and hammer allow for effective penetration in any condition. The ergonomic handle and knob provide comfort during use, while the anodized aluminum shaft combines lightness and reliability. The curvature of the handle facilitates the penetration gesture in steep snow and ensures space to operate safely. The pick and durable knob facilitate penetration in both compact and soft snow. Finally, the wide attachment points on the blade and pick allow for easy attachment with cords or carabiners, while the machined grooves on the handle offer additional grip on technical terrain.
