Description
The DMM Terrier 2, a progression hook for climbing, creates positioning options on ice, frozen grassy terrain, and thin cracks, providing safety to climbers in marginal conditions. Its compact size allows for use in extremely difficult terrains: small patches of frozen grass, thin layers of ice, and narrow cracks are all possible positions for the Terrier. The shorter handle reduces leverage in spots where a Bulldog might risk pulling out. The design features of the Bulldog are present in a reduced form: a spike for quick and precise strikes, a handle that facilitates extraction for the second, an extendable strap to reduce friction, and a strength of 10 kN make the Terrier an essential tool for mixed climbing. Pairing the Terrier with a Bulldog offers a wide range of innovative positioning options in winter environments.
