Edelrid Spoc blocking pulley for climbing
The Edelrid Spoc blocking pulley with movable flanges is practical and versatile, suitable for lifting loads, crevasse rescue operations, or as an emergency handle.
The pulley has a width of 20 mm, is equipped with ball bearings to ensure a high working efficiency (92%), and weighs only 60 grams.
Spoc is compatible with ropes with a diameter between 7 and 10 mm and with Edelrid's Rap Line II.
To ensure that the load can be lifted safely, the pulley is equipped with a spring-loaded locking cam that automatically stops the rope from sliding, and thanks to its special design, it also works with frozen or muddy ropes.
To open the cam, simply pull the elastic cord. It is also possible to leave the cam in the open position and use the pulley as a regular quickdraw.
A large hole for the carabiner completes the Spoc, allowing for the connection of carabiners of any type to the device.
