Fixe 7.4 Gavarnie half rope climbing
Fixe 7.4 Gavarnie is a half climbing rope certified as a twin rope and is excellent for those who want a lightweight and extremely high-performance rope.
Thanks to its very thin diameter of 7.4 mm and its really low weight (38 g per meter), it is also soft and does not create annoying friction on the rock and on the belayer.
You can use it both in summer and winter, for multi-pitch climbing as well as ice climbing. This is because it is treated with a special treatment called Full Dry, which makes both the outer sheath and the inner core completely waterproof.
Moreover, another very interesting factor is the Fusion treatment, which extends the life of the rope by joining the sheath and core, thus preventing one from slipping over the other.
Finally, there is a black mark that indicates the halfway point of the rope and also a red mark that warns you when there are only 8 meters left to the end.
