Garmin inReach Mini is an ultra-compact GPS device that allows you to be reachable anywhere and live your adventures in peace and safety, even the most extreme ones!
The global coverage guaranteed by the Iridium satellite network allows you to stay connected anywhere, even in the most remote corners of the planet, where smartphones cannot.
This model is characterized by very compact dimensions and weight, so you can always carry it with you and have it at the moment of need or in case of emergency. It weighs only 100g, but it is super robust and durable enough to be certified according to military standards (MIL-STD-810F) and IPX7 waterproof standards. The battery is also excellent and guarantees a duration of up to 50 hours in tracking mode and up to 20 days in power-saving mode.
Garmin inReach Mini is much more than just a simple satellite GPS device; you will have many useful functions at your disposal that will help you tackle the best adventures.
You can receive detailed weather updates on your current location, other locations, or destinations planned in your itinerary. You can exchange text messages with your friends and family, post on social media, or communicate between InReach devices. Your location, in addition to being tracked, can also be shared with family, friends, or adventure companions, who can view your movements or request the location of your device to know GPS coordinates and much more.
Additionally, you can pair inReach Mini with other compatible Garmin mobile devices, further expanding the range of functions available to you. For example, you can use them to remotely control inReach to send or receive messages when you are in flight using the Garmin Pilot app, or with the Garmin EarthMate app, you can access maps and aerial images through other compatible devices. Another very useful service you can access via the web is Garmin Explore, a fantastic ally for planning trips, creating predefined messages and quick texts, synchronizing and managing device settings, and much more.
In case of emergency, you can send an interactive SOS to GEOS, Garmin's international rescue coordination center (IERCC), which, thanks to professional global monitoring and a 24/7 emergency response center, can always help you and provide assistance.
To access the Iridium network, communicate with the inReach Mini device, and use its functions (such as the SOS to GEOS), a satellite subscription is required. You can choose an annual package or a monthly plan directly on the Garmin website.
