The Grivel G12 LT New-Classic Evo is a lightweight universal crampon made of steel with 12 points for classic and technical mountaineering and glacier walking, representing the latest technological evolution of the model considered by all to be the "King of Crampons". The frame with a 12-point steel configuration ensures constant and secure traction on all types of terrain, whether it be snow, ice, or mixed conditions, allowing for safe and controlled movement in variable alpine conditions. Through the LT construction, the total weight of the crampon is significantly reduced by optimizing the thickness of the material, while ensuring long-lasting durability even with intense use. The geometry is specifically designed to balance flexibility and support underfoot, while safety with every step is guaranteed by the proactive Antibott system at the front and rear, developed to reduce snow buildup under the footwear. The attachment system chosen for this version is the New-Classic Evo (marked NC), a traditional lacing system with flexible plastic cages both at the toe and heel, making the crampon compatible with almost all mountain boots on the market, even those completely lacking quick attachment notches. This model weighs in at 861 grams per pair, covers a wide range of sizes from 36 to 47, and is CE EN 893 and UIAA 153 certified.
