Grivel The Dark Machine ice axe and dry tooling
Grivel The Dark Machine is a technical ice axe designed for ice climbing, dry tooling up to ice climbing.
The axe features an interchangeable head, a G-bone composite carbon handle, and a fully carbon grip.
The Dark Machine ensures precise penetration in the coldest ice thanks to the provided interchangeable Vario blade. An additional tooth along the top of the pick will assist you in the more challenging mixed and dry tooling routes.
The axe is compatible with the blades: Ice Vario, Total Ice Vario (click here to view the product), Total Dry Vario.
The handle has been designed to better adapt to various ice morphologies, ergonomic, lightweight, and easy to handle, durable and with a very pronounced curvature will facilitate overcoming cauliflower bulges or during changes in slope.
