The hiking guide Idea Montagna 3000 delle Dolomiti (4th ed.) is a guide to the highest peaks of the Dolomites, which rise like isolated giants among the beautiful valleys and Dolomite peaks of Trentino Alto Adige and Veneto. While some peaks are accessible to all hikers, others represent challenging alpine routes reserved for experienced hikers. The fourth edition contains further updates and corrections that some members of the Gruppo 3000 Dolomiti have provided to the authors, or from checks they themselves have carried out in recent years. Some altitudes have been updated, not because the peaks have changed, but mainly thanks to the 4Land cartography, which uses more advanced and precise measurement technology. Additionally, the list of peaks in order of altitude, found at the end of the book, sees several changes compared to previous editions.
