Idea Montagna hiking in Val di Zoldo trekking guide: The 27 proposed hikes cover the entire territory of Val di Zoldo and its mountain groups, often extending to the slopes facing Ampezzano, Cadore, and Agordino. In addition to the more well-known and touristy routes overlooking Pelmo and Civetta, there are wilder and sometimes almost unknown itineraries that wind up the slopes of the so-called "minor mountains" of Zoldo. To complement the already remarkable hiking opportunities, the Anello Zoldano is added, a multi-day route that retraces existing paths while optimally utilizing the hospitality of the refuges located in the area. Val di Zoldo is a true treasure for hikers, where they can find trails of all lengths and difficulties, as well as opportunities for geological, paleontological, naturalistic, and historical observations. Its location also makes it easily accessible for those coming from the Venetian plain, allowing for day hikes, although it is highly recommended to stay overnight in the area to fully enjoy the possibilities offered by this extraordinary corner of the "Pale Mountains".
