Idea Montagna "Mont Blanc Freeride (second edition)" is the freeride guide of Mont Blanc, which has always been the Italian mecca of freeride and is every year the destination of thousands of skiers who base themselves in Courmayeur and Chamonix to fully enjoy the views and face the experiences and challenges that this mountain has to offer.
The guide aims to be a valuable aid for those approaching freeride around Mont Blanc. The volume describes 48 routes, with varying degrees of difficulty, in the valleys of Courmayeur and Chamonix. In some cases, the routes are served by ski lifts, while in others, the use of climbing skins is required.
For the first time in a book, the routes are described and photographed also from the skier's POV (Point of View), with the aim of bringing the reader "into the route" and explaining, as much as possible, the environment and the difficulties of the descent they will face.
