The Kilo XTR ski mountaineering boot from La Sportiva is the ideal footwear for ski mountaineers seeking a perfect balance between uphill performance and downhill control. This innovative boot is made with cutting-edge materials to ensure lightness and rigidity: the shell is made of Grilamid® Bio Based LF Carbon, a biologically sourced material reinforced with carbon, while the cuff is made of Fiberglass. The dual compound FriXion Wave Alpine XTR sole is designed to provide exceptional grip on rock and snow, absorb impacts, and prevent snow buildup, ensuring safety on any terrain. The fit is precise and comfortable thanks to the FORCE Closure System™ that evenly distributes pressure and the FORCE FLEX System™ that offers flexibility and support. With a 68° range of motion in walk mode, walking feels extremely natural and less tiring, while the ski/walk Tilt-Lock Lite mechanism is simple and quick to operate even with gloves. Compatibility with Tech bindings is ensured by the practical S4 Inserts™ that facilitate pin insertion.
