La Sportiva TX5 GTX trekking boots
La Sportiva TX5 GTX are waterproof trekking boots designed for hikers carrying even very heavy backpacks.
With TX5, you can venture on any trail and hike without fear of foot pain or wet feet: the soft Nubuck upper is indeed covered by a Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane that ensures complete waterproofing.
The foot is also protected by a protective edge along the entire shoe and a shock-absorbing toe cap.
The boot has a high collar above the ankle that not only protects it and keeps it more secure but also prevents stones and mud from entering the shoe. However, don't think that being a high shoe forces your ankle inside: thanks to the 3D Flex technology, there is a joint that allows free movement.
The combination of an EVA foam midsole and stabilizing insole along with a 4 mm Ortholite Approach insole makes the shoe extremely comfortable and suitable for prolonged use.
The sole, on the other hand, is a Vibram MegaGrip with Impact Brake System. The lugs have a differentiated thickness depending on the contact area to ensure excellent grip on ascents and to hold back on descents, making it perfect for all types of terrain!
