Mammut Barryvox S Package ARVA shovel probe
Mammut Barryvox S Package Kit is an alpine rescue kit that includes all the avalanche equipment you need for off-piste outings, freeride, or ski mountaineering days: an ARVA, an avalanche probe, and a shovel.
Inside you will find:
- Barryvox S (European version): a hybrid avalanche locator, both analog and digital, with three receiving antennas. Easy to use and with a wide range (70 meters), if you click here you can see the complete product description.
- Probe 240: it is an extremely durable aluminum probe with an integrated telescopic locking system. It is comfortable and easy to use, also compatible with gloves.
Made up of 6 segments, Probe 240 has a total length when open of 240 cm and a total weight of 240 g. When closed, it measures 45 cm with a diameter of 11 mm. Thanks to its compact size, it won't take up much space in your backpack.
The avalanche probe is a tool that should always be carried, it quickly fits together and determines the exact position and depth of the buried subject. This speeds up the rescue system.
The use of a quick tensioning cable at the head of the probe allows for immediate extraction and extension, while the tip of the probe is drop-shaped for energy-saving probing.
- Alugator Ride: it is a shovel for digging and finding a subject in case of an avalanche. Its T-handle is very easy to use while the telescopic shaft is a great space saver. It is made of aluminum to make it sturdy, while to make the product even more durable, the shovel and blade have been tempered and anodized.
