Metolius SuperCam Large climbing friend
Metolius SuperCam Large is a friend to use as protection in traditional climbing!
When a large protection is needed, Metolius friends perform excellently, thanks to their unique design. The lobes of the asymmetric cams allow you to use them over a range of sizes almost double compared to friends that use symmetric cams; moreover, for the same size, they offer greater stability. Additionally, this particular design allows the friend greater precision and a constant tension throughout the range in which you can use it.
The Kevlar trigger is lightweight, strong, and durable, while the 16 mm colored Dyneema webbing allows you to quickly see if you have picked the right friend!
The SuperCam has a very wide and optimized cam angle that allows for greater holding power, increased durability, and unparalleled control both during placement and when it's time to remove it.
