The Mountain Hardwear Bishop Pass 15F/-9°C is a versatile and high-performance down sleeping bag, designed for campers and climbers who are always on the move and accustomed to changing objectives. The mummy shape promotes a natural position during rest, while the high-performance insulation and skin-contact materials ensure a balance between versatility and functionality in a single product.
The 650-fill down insulation provides an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, offering lightness and compressibility. The down-filled face closure helps block drafts at the hood opening, while the shaped foot box follows the natural position of the foot to enhance comfort and heat retention. The full-length down draft tube along the zipper helps reduce heat loss and limits cold spots.
The bag features an internal security pocket, hang loops, and sleeping pad straps, along with a lightweight and reliable YKK zipper with snag-free construction that facilitates entry and exit. The zipper is two-way to allow for ventilation and is available on both the left and right sides, also enabling the coupling function between bags. The zipper slider is visible in the dark thanks to its phosphorescent property.
The outer fabrics are treated with a DWR finish to repel water. The product includes a compression sack and a mesh storage sack. The lining is made of 30D nylon with a smooth weave at 49 g/m², while the insulation is 650-fill down certified RDS, tracked according to the Responsible Down Standard and certified by Control Union (license CU 848416).
The shape is Mummy Performance Plus, with a total weight of 1.06 kg. The insulation weighs 600 g in the Regular version and 650 g in the Long version. The compressed dimensions are 39 × 20.25 cm, with a compressed volume of 8.1 L for the Regular and 8.3 L for the Long. The maximum user height is 183 cm for the Regular and 198 cm for the Long, with shoulder circumference of 157 cm (Regular) and 163 cm (Long), and hip circumference of 135 cm (Regular) and 142 cm (Long). The comfort temperature is -3°C, the limit -9°C, and the extreme -28°C.
