Ortovox Diract Voice is the first avalanche ARTVA locator to integrate navigation through voice commands during rescue activities to make it easier and faster.
The voice navigation, available in many languages, will provide you with clear and understandable directions to assist you during the search phase, helping you to stay calm, be quick, and efficient. Diract Voice is an extremely reliable product and thanks to the 3 antennas available, with Smart Antenna technology, it analyzes the position data and automatically switches to the best transmission antenna. It therefore guarantees a stable and reliable signal right from the start.
The minimal and no-frills design allows for practical and intuitive use, as with a single button you can quickly mark avalanche victims or switch to standby mode. The post-avalanche protection automatically switches from Search and Standby mode to Transmission mode to ensure total protection for the searchers. Even in difficult lighting conditions, the extra-large display is easy to read and provides intuitive guidance to the user even in stressful situations, thanks to clear indications and real-time 360° visualization.
The battery is low-temperature rechargeable, particularly durable and eco-friendly. Even at -20°C, it can reliably deliver power without discharging, unlike regular batteries.
There is also a free app, Ortovox, available for both Apple iOS and Android, which allows you to automatically update the software.
