Ortovox Peak 42 S is a robust and functional backpack, with technical features that make it perfect for alpine excursions and ski mountaineering!
This is the "Short" version with a shorter back, perfect for shorter individuals. The material it is made from is a guarantee in terms of durability: the Nylon 420D Manstar is extremely resistant to tears and abrasions. The shoulder straps and hip belts are designed to provide great comfort in every situation by evenly distributing the load between the shoulders and hips. The back system is made from pressed Swiss wool, which not only retains heat but also has excellent moisture management: absorbing almost 30 times more than a foam back system and ensuring 7% more breathability, you will always have a fantastic feeling of comfort and dryness.
In addition to the main access system with a zipper, there is a very useful pocket for your safety equipment, and there are several details that will make a difference on your alpine outings: there is the possibility to secure the rope, ice axe, poles, crampons, skis (side or diagonal), helmet (with a fastening net), hydration system, and ice screws!
