Osprey Mutant 22 alpine backpack is a minimalist and fast&light reinterpretation of the legendary Mutant model, designed for 360-degree mountaineering and aimed at meeting the needs of athletes pursuing the best performance and minimal bulk.
Mutant 22 is reliable and ready to accompany you all year round, suitable for multiple activities, from summer mountaineering to winter ice climbing and much more.
The 22-liter volume allows you to load all the necessary gear and a few extra clothes in case of unforeseen events, for a one-day expedition or longer, placing Mutant 22 inside a shipping duffel bag.
Osprey makes Mutant from durable 420d Ripstop Nylon, tear-resistant and abrasion-resistant, enhancing it with external daisy chains, gear loops, and a double ToolLock system for ice axes.
Access is through a wide and practical top zip opening. The back panel is made of snow-resistant fabric and will help keep your back warm in low temperatures. Compatible with hydration systems.
