Osprey Mutant 38 is an excellent climbing and mountaineering backpack even in the most challenging situations, from summit ascents to multipitch routes and icefalls.
Developed with the help of athletes and local guides and refined over years of abuse in extreme conditions, the fit to the body and features of this backpack ensure safety and stability even in the worst conditions.
Made from high-tenacity recycled 210D Nylon certified with DWR coating, it is water-repellent and super resistant to tears and abrasions. Thanks to the numerous dedicated technical details, you can carry with you: ice axes, trekking poles, rope, skis, ice screws, helmet, hydration bladder, and much more.
The combination of shoulder straps and back panel is exceptional in terms of comfort and stability. You can adjust the various buckles until you find the perfect fit and wear the backpack all day without discomfort.
