Osprey Sopris 25 l ski mountaineering backpack
The Osprey Sopris 25 L is a technical ski mountaineering backpack, designed for fast and light missions in snowy environments. The structure integrates a 2.5 mm LightWire frame with an HDPE panel, ensuring stability and comfort, while the women-specific fit guarantees optimal wear and more efficient movements in the mountains.
Access to the main compartment is from the back panel and includes internal pockets for small items or thermoses and a zip pocket. There is a dedicated compartment for organizing avalanche safety gear, as well as a secure transport system for ice axes with a UHMWPE webbing sleeve, toggle closure, and elastic cord. The backpack is compatible with diagonal or A-frame ski transport, vertical or horizontal snowboard transport, snowshoes on the front panel, sledding via specific rings, and helmet with stowaway system. Additionally, it includes an external pocket lined for goggles or accessories, a loop on the hip belt, a zip pocket on the waist, and shoulder straps equipped with attachment points for GPS or radio with microphone support.
The thermoformed back panel made of perforated EVA reduces the accumulation of snow and ice while providing lightness and comfort. The padded lumbar wings, adjustable 25 mm hip belt, and adjustable sternum strap with safety whistle complete the transport system, designed for stability and mobility during ascents.
Made with bluesign approved fabrics, the backpack uses recycled 420D nylon from ocean waste with a PFAS-free DWR treatment for the main body, recycled 70D nylon for the lining, and recycled NanoTough 420D nylon with a carbonate coating for the bottom. The weight is optimized thanks to removable components like the front straps (25 g).
The load capacity is between 7 and 12 kg.
