Pareti e Montagne Mangart is a novel set in the mountains between Friuli and Slovenia, more precisely at the peak called Mangart.
Here, Da Neri wanted to create a gripping story that keeps you glued to the book, telling the story of the protagonist Flavio Ferrari as he faces the challenge of climbing a new route through ice and rock.
He sleeps for days in a portaledge hanging on the wall and also finds himself near a situation that has little to do with climbing: the reckoning of the war in Bosnia. However, he decides not to give up and to reach his goal: thus, the book Mangart is born.
