Description
The Petzl Balaclava is a unisex technical balaclava designed to provide total protection for the head, face, and neck during mountaineering activities and work at height in cold and extreme environments. This essential accessory combines various technologies specific to each area: the central part is made of Windstopper® to ensure superior thermal insulation against the biting wind, while the lower section is made of soft fleece to keep the neck warm. Thanks to the snug fit and seamless construction, the Balaclava can be comfortably worn under a helmet without creating annoying pressure points, while the breathable upper part optimizes moisture regulation, reducing sweating. Functionality is maximized with side openings positioned in front of the ears that do not compromise hearing and strategic openings around the nose and mouth that facilitate breathing, drastically limiting condensation formation. Weighing only 60 g and made of polyester and elastane, it is a lightweight, durable, and easy-to-maintain garment as it is machine washable at 30°C. Available in two sizes to perfectly fit every morphology, it represents the ultimate barrier against the elements for verticality professionals who do not want to compromise on comfort and maximum freedom of movement.
