Petzl Connect Adjust adjustable single lanyard for climbing and mountaineering
Petzl Connect Adjust is an adjustable single lanyard designed for climbing and mountaineering, intended for securing oneself to the anchor.
The adjustable arm allows for length variation from 15 to 95 cm, making the management of the rope and equipment at the anchor more efficient. The lanyard is made of 9.0 mm dynamic rope, which helps reduce the force transmitted to the user in case of short falls.*
It connects to the harness via a sewn loop made of high-modulus polyethylene (HMPE, patented by Petzl), using a compact wolf mouth knot that frees up space on the service ring and remains easily identifiable even during maneuvers at the anchor.
The ergonomic and intuitive Adjust length regulator allows for smooth and precise adjustment with one hand. The integrated Tanga rubber ring keeps the carabiner in the correct position within the Adjust regulator, facilitating attachment and detachment.
The Adjust is equipped with a hole for adding a release cord, useful for releasing the lanyard even under tension.
Compatible with Sm’D Twist-Lock closure carabiners (not included).
* To be used below the anchor point: positioning lanyards are not equipped with energy absorbers. They should only be used when the potential fall factor is less than 1.
