Description
The PROTEC PLUS from Petzl is a flexible, high-strength protection for fixed ropes, made of aramid to ensure exceptional durability. Compared to the standard PROTEC protection, it offers triple abrasion resistance and double resistance to sharp edges. It is designed to protect ropes even in case of brief exposures to heat (up to 200 °C for 5 minutes) or accidental contact with flames (up to 650 °C for 10 seconds). Installation is simple thanks to the integrated magnets and the clip, which can be used even while wearing gloves. The device is reversible, works with the clip facing up or down, and is compatible with ropes of any professional diameter and anchor tapes like the CONNEXION. Weighing 135 grams and measuring 56 × 5 × 2.5 cm, it is ideal for work at height and rescue situations.
