Petzl Volt Wind European version work positioning fall arrest harness
Petzl Volt Wind fall arrest and work positioning harness is designed for those working on wind turbine towers.
Anatomical, lightweight, and breathable, Volt Wind is an ideal harness for all phases of work and is certified according to European and Russian standards.
Petzl designs a super comfortable harness to wear while keeping your feet on the ground thanks to the Fast LT and Fast LT Plus buckles for easy and quick opening and closing, and Doubleback self-locking buckles on the waist and shoulder straps for precise adjustment.
For vertical progression on a rail or cable, Petzl includes a Ladder Climb attachment point that allows you to connect a lanyard, descender, or trolley.
Ladder Climb distributes the tension across the waist and thus ensures optimal comfort during progression. In the event of a fall, this attachment point automatically rises to the dorsal position to ensure a vertical post-fall body position.
The Volt Wind harness also integrates padding on the waist and under the dorsal point to reduce wear on the webbing when moving along the wind turbine tower.
Completing the Volt Wind are adjustable padded leg loops, adjustable shoulder straps with DoubleBack self-locking buckles, an organization system for the MGO connectors of the fall arrest lanyards on each shoulder strap, gear loops, carabiner keepers, and a tool pouch to easily organize work tools.
