The Raumer Hang Fix M10C expansion anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel. Equipped with an expansion element, it is ideal for mountaineering and climbing on hard and compact rocks such as limestone, granite, and dolomite. Thanks to its new design, the expansion can be fixed to most types of supports.
WARNING: The Hang Fix M10C anchor is not recommended for extremely soft rock types such as sandstone. In such cases, it is advisable to use chemical anchors.
WARNING: The anchor 156 is made of AISI 316L stainless steel, but it is also available in Marine version , even more resistant to corrosion due to agents present in marine environments. Raumer performs a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. The anchors that use this technology feature a circular throat and a bulging point on the head to clearly indicate the type of Hang Fix attached. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and speleology. The company was founded in 1992 by an idea of Cesare Raumer, the owner. He managed to combine his deep passion for mountains, nature, and speleology with mechanical technology. From the beginning, the strength has been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer thus symbolizes quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
