The Raumer Hang Fix M12L perforation nail is made of AISI 316L stainless steel. Equipped with a double expansion element, it is ideal for mountaineering and climbing on hard rock such as limestone, granite, and dolomite. Thanks to the new design, the expansion can be secured on most types of supports. The length of 100 mm ensures excellent grip.
WARNING: the Hang Fix M12L nail is not recommended for some types of extremely soft rock such as sandstone. In this case, it is ideal to use chemical fixing anchors.
WARNING: The chiper 114 is made of AISI 316L steel but is also available in Marina version, which is further resistant to corrosion due to agents present near marine environments. The Raumer company performs a treatment for marine stainless steel divided into three phases: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. Nails with this technology feature a circular throat and a bulging point on the head to clearly understand the type of Hang Fix attached. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and speleology. The company was founded in 1992 by an idea of Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has managed to combine his deep passion for the mountains, nature, and speleology with mechanical technology. The strong point has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasions. Raumer is therefore synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
