Item 121
The Raumer Hang Fix M8C ØM8x60 drilling nail, of short type, is made of AISI 316L stainless steel and is suitable for caving and speleo rescue. Equipped with a single expansion element, it is ideal for anchors on hard and compact rocks such as marble, massive limestone, and dolomite. This nail consists of a single flanged M8 nut to avoid handling the washer, which is usually easily lost, but especially to correctly and optimally secure the plate. Thanks to the new design, the expansion can be secured on most types of supports.
WARNING: the Hang Fix M8C nail is not recommended for some types of extremely soft rock such as sandstone. In this case, it is ideal to use chemical fixing anchors.
Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, caving. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has been able to combine his deep passion for the mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strong point has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel, which is even more resistant to abrasion, is used. Raumer is therefore synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
