Raumer R5000 stainless steel carabiner with wire gate

R5000 Raumer connector with AISI 316L bar art. 600 is a stainless steel connector designed for creating fixed anchors outdoors, ideal for climbing, caving, canyoning, and mountaineering. The innovative Raumer design, with compact dimensions and a rounded profile free of sharp edges, facilitates the insertion of the double rope and significantly reduces the risk of accidental disengagements, improving the overall safety of the system. It is an automatic locking device that allows for direct or indirect connection to the anchor, providing protection against falls from above. The body is made of Ø12 wire to increase both break strength and durability over time, even with intensive use, while the wire gate made of AISI 316L stainless steel, due to its lack of inertia, limits the risk of accidental openings during lateral stresses. At the top, there is a bar that stabilizes the carabiner in its seat, preventing unwanted movements or flips and always ensuring the correct working position. The positioning bar is included in the supply but is delivered separately from the carabiner to facilitate placement: it is sufficient to fix it with a hammer blow. Even after intensive use, the carabiner can be replaced by intervening on the rod and restoring the system. Made entirely of AISI 316L stainless steel, it offers high corrosion resistance and is produced in Italy. Note: this carabiner is made of AISI 316L steel but is also available in a Marina version, further resistant to corrosion due to agents present near marine environments.
