The Raumer stainless steel anchor consists of a 10 mm Wing plate in diameter and a closed R 5000 carabiner. Excellent for fixed ropes, it works particularly well in pairs to create very practical belay stations.
WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel, but is also available in the Marine version, which is further resistant to corrosion from agents present in marine environments. Raumer performs a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. The icon of a stylized fish with the word INOX inside identifies the marine line compared to the standard version. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of equipment for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, caving. Founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the company has managed to combine its deep passion for mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. From the beginning, the company's strength has been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer is therefore synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place at the Vicenza plant.
