The Raumer Superstar chemical nail is one of the most widely used on the market. Its dimensions (Ø10x80) and lightweight make it particularly versatile. The knurled profile of the stem increases its pull-out resistance. The eyelet has an asymmetric shape, ideal for use on walls, and offers ample space to accommodate two carabiners simultaneously. It is also possible to pass the rope directly through the eyelet to use the anchoring for top-rope, as the internal profile is smooth, minimizing the risk of damaging the rope sheath. The matte color of the Superstar makes it very discreet, ensuring it is less visible and intrusive on the rock wall.
WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel but is also available in a Marine Version, even more resistant to corrosion in marine conditions. Raumer performs a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. The icon of a stylized fish with the word INOX inside distinguishes the marine line from the standard version. Below you will find information about the technology used for this type of product.

Raumer is a company based in Schio, Vicenza, specializing in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and caving. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has managed to combine his deep passion for mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strong point from the beginning has been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, thanks to continuous experience and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer is synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: all production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
