Salomon MTN 86 PRO is a ski for ski mountaineering designed for ski lovers who always decide at the last minute whether to put on skins for an intense ascent or to speed down to conquer new spaces, the MTN 86 PRO from Salomon, with its 86 mm width at the center, is the ideal ski wherever you want to go. It is made partly with recycled and natural materials.
Short turn: the imaginary circle created by the ski's sidecut (radius) is < 15 m.
Medium turn: the imaginary circle created by the ski's sidecut (radius) is between 15 m and 20 m.
Long turn: the imaginary circle created by the ski's sidecut (radius) is > 20 m.
Touring profile: the medium camber of the skis offers good grip on groomed snow and icy channels, while a rocker in the tip makes it easy to float on fresh snow and maneuver in all snow conditions.
Core entirely made of poplar/karuba wood: the wood core is a mix of poplar and Karuba. The Karuba wood ensures lightness and inertia. Basalt fibers.
Cork Damplifier: cork absorbs vibrations three times more than Koroyd. Using it in the tip of the ski provides a higher level of vibration absorption and cushioning, with an even lighter weight.
