SCARPA 4-Quattro XT ski mountaineering boots
SCARPA 4-Quattro XT are high-level ski mountaineering boots, ideal for freeride and tours, also usable as a single boot for on-piste/off-piste. 4-Quattro XT is indeed the lightest hybrid ski boot on the market, compatible with all ski mountaineering bindings and GripWalk alpine ski bindings. It perfectly suits experienced ski mountaineers looking for a high-performance and responsive boot to tackle the day both on and off the ski slopes.
The reduced-volume shell, made of Grilamid Bio from renewable sources with Carbon Core technology, is extremely lightweight, durable, and responsive. The over-injected carbon insert allows for direct transmission of impulses from the foot to the ski, ensuring greater precision and control even in the most challenging skiing situations.
The Ski/Walk Speed Lock 4 mechanism allows for a quick transition between skiing and walking modes thanks to the ergonomic lever and the strap that can be used even with gloves. The mechanism features Friction Free technology that provides maximum agility and freedom of movement while walking. The same applies to the four ergonomic levers that make up the closure system, which, thanks to their design, allow for perfect adjustment and optimal distribution of closure pressure. This is facilitated by the dynamic extension elastic band that also serves as protection.
The 4 Pro Flex XT liner guarantees excellent comfort thanks to its design and the fully thermoformable Foam Intuition construction. The closed-cell structure of this foam ensures high thermal insulation, and the reinforcements on the tongue and cuff provide excellent support and precision during the descent.
