SCARPA Chimera climbing shoe
SCARPA Chimera is a climbing shoe, an evolution of the historic model of the same name, which perfects and makes it even more performant on sport routes, from slabs to overhangs!
Compared to the old Chimera, this new version is a bit stiffer and more precise, perfect for those looking for a bold and responsive climbing style. This is made possible by various factors including the brand new upper made with a mix of microfiber and polyurethane that makes it thinner and super durable. Comfort is also excellent, they adapt to the shape of your foot without giving in too much over time and use. The tensioning system has also been revised to make the Chimera perform well on walls of every inclination. Additionally, the heel is constructed with PAF technology, making it comfortable and definitely performant.
The molded polyurethane midsole will give you maximum push on edges and small footholds, while the Vibram XS Grip 2 sole guarantees exceptional grip on every type of rock. A particular feature of this model is the differentiated thickness of the sole, 3.5 mm in the forefoot and 2 mm in the heel.
