SCARPA Drago LV climbing shoe is an updated version of its namesake Drago that caters to a broader audience.
The Low Volume version retains the strong points of the iconic Drago, the features that have made it the favorite shoe among all boulderers.
The very soft rubber compound allows for spreading the feet on volumes, the equally asymmetrical toe provides great precision in footholds, and the tensioning is meticulously designed to ensure a complete push during the launch and/or push phase.
All of this is complemented by a heel with PAF Heel (Pressure Absorbing Fit) technology that does not overly stress the Achilles tendon but guarantees excellent performance.
But now let's understand the real difference between Drago and Drago LV. As the name suggests, Low Volume, the 2020 version has reduced volumes both in the heel area and in the instep.
This means that the shoe fits a broader audience: thus, it also satisfies those who did not fill the classic Drago well.
