SCARPA Golden Gate ATR GTX Woman are super versatile women's trail running shoes, suitable for daily training on medium and long distances on off-road and mixed terrains, which can also include paved sections!
Comfortable, reliable, and protective, they fit well for people of any weight and experience. The fit is very precise, and for this reason, SCARPA recommends going up a size if a comfortable fit is desired.
The upper is lightweight, breathable, and durable. The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit lining makes it waterproof without compromising fit, flexibility, and weight. Directly welded to the upper, it is designed to be practically invisible and provide maximum comfort. To enhance the fit, there is an integrated collar at the tongue that simulates a sock, making it easier to put on and preventing mud and pebbles from entering. You will also feel like you are wearing a soft sock throughout the rest of the foot, thanks to the Sock-Fit LW construction that makes the fit snug and extremely comfortable.
Another strong point of this model is the combination of sole/midsole! The latter is equipped with the "i-Respond" propulsion system that enhances the push phase and allows for less energy expenditure. The sole, on the other hand, is the Presa TRN-02 with 4 mm lugs, made by SCARPA with a very high-performance compound that guarantees excellent grip both on dry and wet surfaces, without sacrificing durability.
