SCARPA Rapid Mid GTX WMN women's approach shoes
SCARPA Rapid Mid GTX WMN are women's approach shoes designed to move quickly on mountainous terrain and to keep your feet dry even in the rain. They also provide maximum ankle protection during technical trails, while approaching the climbing wall, and are easy to attach to the harness and perform well on steep and fast descents.
The upper is made of a waterproof and abrasion-resistant technical fabric with an external TPU cage. The mesh collar and pressure-relief tongue ensure comfort and protection in the most sensitive areas of the foot, which is also protected by a rubber toe cap. The fit is precise and snug, especially in the heel and instep areas, thanks to the GORE-TEX Invisible Fit technology that, lightweight and perfectly integrated into the upper, keeps the foot dry in case of rain and bad weather.
The Agility sole combines a differentiated density EVA midsole capable of absorbing impacts and increasing comfort with a Vibram Megagrip outsole equipped with climbing zones. Stability is enhanced by a TPU insert located in the midfoot area. Meanwhile, the Dynamic Protection System (DPS) has been added in the forefoot to improve propulsion and responsiveness. Thanks to all these features, you will have comfort and grip on any type of terrain.
