The Alp Loop by Skylotec is a sewn loop made from 8.3 mm dynamic rope, specifically designed for long routes and mountaineering where load management and safety are paramount. Thanks to the dynamic nature of the material, this loop can absorb part of the energy from a potential shock, making it ideal for equalizing anchors on trad routes, as a lanyard for self-belay at belays, or for rappelling with double rope, as well as for natural anchor slings. The product fully meets the stringent requirements of the UIAA 109 standard, ensuring resistance to three consecutive falls with a fall factor of 2 and guaranteeing that the stopping force during the first fall remains below 10 kN.
