SNAP Snapclimbing Air Shock 1 is an inflatable crash pad designed for those seeking a large landing surface with an extremely reduced footprint when deflated. The first inflatable crash pad in the range, it is twice as light as a foam model and, once deflated, is ten times more compact for transport and storage.

The outer cover is robust and includes a central mat, while the TPU bottom increases its wear resistance, makes it waterproof, and easy to clean. Inside, air circulates in a welded TPU chamber, maintained and protected by a compartmentalized inner cover; this internal structure is inserted into the crash pad cover, and the double textile structure contributes to high levels of safety and repairability. The Air Shock 1 operates at low pressure, allowing inflation in less than two minutes and pressure adjustment according to personal preferences, comfort, safety, the weight of the climber, and the height of the fall. Once deflated and rolled up, it can be carried over the shoulder.

Inflation occurs quickly in about two minutes via a pump, included, equipped with a pressure gauge and compatible nozzle. The cover is made of 100% recycled 600D polyester on the top, while the bottom and sides are made of 100% recycled 600D polyester with a TPU coating; there is a polyester mat, a shoulder strap with a pocket, two handles, and two retention buckles, with unbreakable aluminum alloy closure components. The internal structure includes a welded TPU air chamber with a recommended pressure of about 2 PSI and a maximum pressure of 4 PSI. The outer cover is produced in Vietnam, the inner cover in France, the inflatable structure in France, and final assembly takes place in France. The dimensions are 150 × 120 × 15 cm when open and 70 × 25 cm in diameter when rolled up.
