Vaude Updraft 28 LW backpack for ski mountaineering is ultra-light and minimalist; with a capacity of 28 liters, it weighs less than 750 grams.
Updraft 28 LW is ideal for ski mountaineering outings or day hikes where comfort, lightness, and stability are essential elements to tackle the day effectively.
Vaude designs a slim and linear profile backpack, made in collaboration with VAUDE Green Shape, with a continuous focus on the environment. Made of 40 D Ripstop Nylon, it is resistant to water, cuts, and abrasions and features a reinforced bottom and sides.
Vaude, attentive to detail, provides Updraft 28 LW with two quick-adjust diagonal straps to secure your skis during transport.
Inside, you will find two practical pockets to store a probe, poles, or the handle of a shovel, and a larger one specifically designed to hold the shovel. Vaude also includes an additional compartment for wet clothing and skins, and one for valuables, sunglasses, and a mobile phone.
You also have small reflective bands positioned on the shoulder straps to provide maximum safety in low-light conditions.
All these small features make it a top-of-the-line option in terms of comfort: an elastic pocket on one shoulder strap for quickly stashing an energy bar, GPS, or your camera, a pre-sewn strap for holding gloves or a hat, and various other straps for carrying ice axes and a helmet.
