The author is Matteo Della Bordella, a high-level climber and mountaineer, president of the Ragni di Lecco and since 2008 the youngest member of the Italian Academic Alpine Club. His mountaineering curriculum is impressive, and in addition to expeditions and climbs on the hardest and most beautiful walls in the world, from Greenland to Mexico to Patagonia, he has opened numerous high-difficulty routes throughout the Alpine arc over the years.
