Versante Sud Mello Boulder German version climbing guide: This new edition of Mello Boulder features additional videos that can be viewed via QR codes and a simple application that can be downloaded for free on all smartphones. You can see almost three hundred routes of varying difficulties evenly distributed among the various sectors of the valley.
The guide is aimed at the diverse community of boulderers: for those who want to try the most famous and difficult routes, but especially for those who love climbing on boulders while enjoying the movement and the magnificent natural context in which they will be immersed.
Andrea Pavan, born and raised in Como, has lived in Sondrio for over ten years where he works as a geologist. In 2003, he became a member of the Ragni di Lecco. After his first experiences in the mountains (alpinism, ski mountaineering, and ice climbing), starting in 1996, he increasingly dedicated himself to climbing, first tackling long routes around the Alps (particularly in the Masino group) and then in Peru and Morocco. He has also climbed extensively in crags where he enjoyed bolting new routes. His great passion, always, is bouldering. He has cleaned and freed new lines, including difficult ones, both in Masino and in other bouldering sites scattered throughout the province of Sondrio (Selvapiana, Dazio, Val di Togno, Val Gerola, etc.) but also during trips to Morocco and Turkey, always in the company of his friends "Ragni".
