Versante Sud Skialp between Gran Sasso and Sibillini Vol. 1 ski mountaineering guide is a collection of 101 itineraries, almost all unpublished, of Steep Skiing and classic Ski-Mountaineering, little known and frequented, suitable for both beginners and more experienced.
The routes in this first volume belong to the northernmost sectors of the Central Apennines, located more or less north of the Aterno-Pescara river. Specifically, 12 itineraries are described on the Sibillini range, 7 on the Reatini (Terminillo), 10 on the Monti della Laga, 47 on the Gran Sasso d'Italia, 20 on the Velino range, and finally 5 on the southernmost and western Simbruini-Ernici range.
The guide is written by Cristiano Lurisci, one of the leading contemporary interpreters of Apennine mountaineering, who has always been passionate about mountains and outdoor activities.
