Völkl Blaze 94 alpine touring skis and freeride is innovative and designed for those who love to ski instinctively, free to carve their own lines in the snow with full control of the ski.

Blaze 94 is an all-mountain ski with a sporty design, characterized by a hybrid Tip to Tail multilayer wood core combined with three different radii and a featherweight of only 1570 grams (for 179 cm in length).

Here are three important features of Völkl Blaze 94:

TITANAL BINDING PLATFORM

A thin layer of Titanal (0.3 mm) under the binding ensures the ski has the necessary strength. This way, the binding screws provide reliable hold even in the most challenging conditions.

SUSPENSION TIPS & TAILS

Elastic TPU inserts on the edges of the tip and tail act as bumpers in wind-packed or machine-groomed snow conditions. Its elasticity absorbs shocks, ensuring greater stability and floatation without hindrance.

HYBRID MULTILAYER WOODCORE

The hybrid multilayer wood core, with an extremely complex and remarkably light structure, is used for the Blaze series. This core integrates lightweight and extremely stable poplar and beech wood elements that are individually weighed and subsequently selected before being glued. In the Tip to Tail structure, the wood extends all the way to the tip and tail, thus producing an ambitious combination of good stability and reduced weight. In the center of the core, an Isocore zone shaped through CNC milling contributes to optimal durability and dynamic development. In summary, this type of structure makes it possible to harmonize the stability of the ski according to the high demands of freeride, while keeping the weight only slightly above that of a ski touring ski.
