As the name suggests, this shoe has been specifically designed for indoor climbing. The world of competitions has changed significantly, and Wild Climb keeps up with the latest trends in route setting by creating a shoe that offers maximum sensitivity to footholds.
Our beloved yet often hated volumes have changed the needs of all indoor climbers. We no longer need a rigid and precise shoe for small footholds that provides support; instead, we need a soft shoe that allows us to spread our foot without straining on the large volumes we face every day to execute the best balance moves.
This is why Dagara is less asymmetrical and curved compared to classic climbing shoes. The upper is made with a two-component microfiber that combines two types of synthetic material that together manage to reproduce the comfort and characteristics of leather, while still retaining the advantage of microfiber in maintaining its shape over time.
To increase sensitivity, Dagara features a sole, midsole, and insole that are much thinner than all other shoes. In fact, while a shoe can have a thickness of almost 6 mm, Dagara, thanks to a special technology that uses laminated rubber with microfiber, is extremely thin: just two millimeters thick for the midsole and insole! However, be careful: rubber has not been removed, so the shoe's durability is not compromised!
The heel area is enclosed by a thin layer of rubber with a lot of grip that allows for excellent heel hooking. The wide double velcro closure allows you to adjust the internal volumes starting from the heel.
Finally, to facilitate toe hooking, Wild Climb has added a thin layer of new rubber for climbing shoes: it is soft, very adherent, and does not absorb chalk to prevent slipping!
We also want to remind you that almost the entire range of shoes offered by WildClimb is vegan. This means that no animal-derived materials are used in their production: thus, synthetic upper as well as adhesives and dyes!
