Description
The Ropeman 4 from Wild Country is a lightweight, compact, and versatile climbing ascender, an essential element for belayed progression, crevasse rescue, self-rescue, recovery maneuvers, and rope ascent. This innovative ascender is compatible with a wide range of rope diameters, from 8 to 13 mm (compliant with EN892), and can also be used with flat and tubular webbing from 10 to 15 mm (EN 566). Its strong point is the new side locking system with a grooved plate that prevents accidental opening and stops the rope from jamming, making it safer and more efficient than similar ascenders. Constructed from durable aluminum alloy and equipped with a high-strength stainless steel central pin, the Ropeman 4 is compatible with HMS and oval carabiners (EN 12275), and the robust stainless steel cable with a plastic sheath facilitates the disengagement of the cam. Certified to EN 567 and UIAA 126, it is a lightweight and indispensable device for all vertical adventures.
