Versante Sud Dolomiti Sentieri Dedicati is a trekking guide that includes 45 of the best excursions in the whole of the Dolomites, from the Brenta Dolomites to the Carnic Crest, dedicated to the great pioneers and mountaineers who have made the history of these places!

With this guide the authors want to give you the opportunity to retrace and relive history through 45 itineraries, considered among the most interesting from the hiking point of view and the most significant for their historical and symbolic value. Mostly these are paths accessible to everyone, but there is no shortage of equipped paths, via ferratas and a couple of routes that require experience and mountaineering skills.

There are trails dedicated to pioneers or great mountaineers, others dedicated to prominent figures in areas unrelated to the mountain, but which the mountains have loved. Still others to cultural personalities who have mountain roots or even artists who have left traces of their passage. There are numerous trails "degli Alpini" or "dei Kaiserjäger", made by Italian and Austrian soldiers in extremely harsh environmental conditions on the front line in the imminence and during the Great War. There are also paths that recall the mountain activities of the past: from miners to mountaineers who collected and traded snow and ice. Fascinating are also those that bring back to distant times or that refer to the Dolomite fairy tales saved from oblivion.
