ARVA Axe Shovel is an avalanche shovel effective in any emergency and rescue situation that can also be used in axe mode.
The reinforced aluminum blade has a thickness of 2 mm, 31x23 cm in length and width that allow you, while maintaining a low weight, to be effective on all types of snow. The shaft, made of aluminum, has an oval profile and a Y-shaped handle, ergonomic and easy to grip. Its peculiarity is that one side of the handle allows you to fix the blade of the shovel turning it into an ax. Forward the rod is equipped with a very comfortable rubberized handle to use when in this mode.
The stem when closed has a length of 49 cm and once mounted the blade has an adjustable length from 66 cm to 80.5 cm. The Pin Lock locking mechanism, in addition to being very reliable, allows you to mount it in an instant in both modes.
